TRI Austin’s Non Destructive Evaluation (NDE) division develops new nondestructive testing and structural health monitoring (SHM) methods and products, using state of the art equipment and techniques, including ultrasonic phased array, acoustic emission, microwave, and thermography.

Development includes the associated electronics and software to collect and archive data, and to provide results that can easily be understood and interpreted by NDE inspectors in the depot and field.
